Articulation: The ability to form words correctly, so that they are intelligible (understood by others).

Disorders of articulation may include dysarthria, (weakness of the muscles of speech) or dyspraxia or apraxia (difficulty initiating or coordinating speech movements) Accent reduction refers to a foreign born speaker attempting to improve their articulation.
